We recently stayed at The Royal Park Hotel Hiroshima Riverside, in room 1409, and were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and amenities. Here are some highlights from our experience: Nice and Helpful Staff: The staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. They offered us an early check-in since the room was already available, which was a pleasant surprise. Unlike other hotels that strictly enforce a 3 PM check-in time, the flexibility here was much appreciated. They also assisted us with getting a taxi and provided detailed advice on various ways to get to Miyajima from the property. Spacious and Comfortable Room: The room was nice and big, with two double beds and an extra bed added, yet there was still ample space to move around comfortably. This made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Great Location: The hotel's location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk from Hiroshima Station. The proximity to the station made it very convenient for us to explore the city and its attractions. Quiet Neighborhood: Despite being close to the station, the hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, across the river, ensuring a peaceful stay. We highly recommend The Royal Park Hotel Hiroshima Riverside for families and will return on our next visit to Hiroshima.

Fantastic location on the riverbank a short walk from the station. Lovely room overlooking the river, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Having a bath as well as a shower was really great too after a long walk it was nice to lay back relax and have a soak. Very close to Shukukeien garden, don't forget to feed the Koi. A slightly longer but straight forward walk to Hiroshima Castle and The Peace Memorial and Atomic bomb museum (dont forget to take tissues, it's a very sad and humbling experience). Finally, the staff were wonderful, welcoming and very happy to assist.

A wonderful hotel, I would even rate it a 4 star hotel instead of a 3 star hotel. Rooms were spacious, more than I expected, amenities were good quality stuff, aircon was nice and cold, air filter in room, beds were comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Was also only a "7 min" walk from Hiroshima Station (i walked slower because luggage). The park directly behind the hotel was also quite nice and relaxing to sit in and watch the riverside and some cherry blossoms. Good views from my 5th floor room too.

First and foremost of the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I cannot thank enough the young gentleman that, even though he was working the night shift, when we approached him for help shipping our bags to Tokyo, he went out of his way to get the information we needed to get the baggage shipped safely. If it was anywhere else in the world, another would just shrug and say that they couldn't help us. The location was great and we had a great view from the room. The room was a bit small but quite lovely.

The rooms were gorgeous—warm, cozy, and equipped with excellent bathroom facilities, including a separate bathroom, shower, and toilet. My window offered a view of the river and the buildings across from it. The breakfast was also quite good. This hotel is located on a side street, giving it a more local and quiet feel. While it takes a bit longer to reach the main attractions of the city, I believe it's worth it, as you get to explore a more authentic, non-touristy part of the area
